There may be no single game moment with more impact than walking out from that canyon into the dark clouds of Chrono Trigger's 600.

Wandering around the world map in Chrono Trigger was quite an eerie experience. All of the fog surrounding you and the Wind Scene music that would play really added a realistic atmosphere to the game. Even though it didn't look real, it somehow felt real....

i'm still playing arcades, it's hard to find games that are fully gameplay without any long cutscenes so when i want to just have fun i go to the arcades.
i rarely see adults playing nowadays... anyone else is an arcade gamer? what's your favorite arcade genere? (shooters - racign - puzzle - dancing - musical - platformer)

Nintendo have recently announced a new version of the DSi to be released in Japan initially (as per always) and then in the Western market in Q1 2010.

Known as the DSi LL in Japan (if the official page is anything to go by), the DSi XL has two 4.2" screens, and a beefier stylus. This is almost the same size as the PSP's screen (4.3").

Going through a bit of childhood nostalgia here (Or sadism, whichever you prefer :P), but I found myself replaying these old games and remembering why I never finished them as kids. Seriously, who the hell had the bright idea to make one of the most painfully challenging games ever to have the appearance of being kid-friendly? Trust me, its not, at least when it comes to difficulty.

Still, found these two games fun (Never played the DC Ecco game) despite the massive difficulty level...
