At least SatAM had a somewhat decent conclusion if you ignore the last minute or so of the last episode. Business reasons aside, the fine point is that there is already a Sonic cartoon out (Sonic X) that is pretty popular with kids today. To revive SatAM would be to repeat the nineties and have two different Sonic cartoons... which I don't think that would ever happen in this day and age. In any case, another what if: Let's say hypothetically the show gets the green light, Season 1 is produced, and the whole nine yards.
Finally it comes to fruitation. Alas, there is not enough support for the show and it (once again) flops. It gets the shaft and we're back at sqaure one. Repeat the process, start over, we're stuck in a vicious circle or a catch-22. Call it what you will. Now what?
