IC:
Off in the distance a loud thunderous crash, as if something large plummeted through the trees, shook the great forest and knothole. Birds flew up into the air in the area the incident may have happened and thick black smoke poured into the evening sky. Within a half hour the smell of burning fuel fouled the air. Within minutes freedom fighters were searching the area to see what had caused the disturbance.
A younger man in his 20s, human, sat hunched unconcious next to a tree in the great forest. He was dressed in camoflage. A large ruck sack on his back and strapped across his chest was an assault rifle and a pistol in a drop leg holster. His face covered covered in dirt and a gash oozing blood on his forehead. Blood ran out of the corner of his mouth and dripped down onto the american flag patch on his shoulder. He coughed every now and then as he struggled to breath. About 700 meters away as fire consumed what looked to be a blackhawk helicopter. Its blades torn to shreds after impacting the trees and the tail broke in half from the hard landing. Several explosions went off as the tanks ignited. The flash of light revealing a few more bodies laying motionless against the ground.
He came to and started to lift his head. He moved his right hand to his shoulder and activated a distress beacon before blacking out again.
