Since the first few pages were posted, we'll start off with Sonic hopping back into Mobius and hearing the sounds of a big brawl. He pokes his head in to
see Scourge and Fiona taking on the Freedom Fighters AND the Suppression Squad and screaming at the top of his lungs about the *bleep*ing traitors! Harsh
language there Scourge. He reminds the SS that he took down an entire planet alone and even Sonic couldn't handle him. Looks like Sonic will have his hands
full...the outcome of this fight should surprise no one.
Sonic asks for a summary from Nicole, who lets him know of the failed mutiny. Sonic tells Nicole his mission was a partial success and asks her to keep the portals opened a bit longer. She complies while Sonic runs off to deal with Scourge since the two groups can't handle him. He gets stopped by Fiona who is not part of the mutiny (Duh!). She asks what is his fixation with loyalty and rants about how everytime she trusts someone, she gets burned. Sonic notes she's fighting awfully hard for the King, which causes her to tear up. She tries to explain but Sonic isn't hearing it.
Back in Moebius, Amy runs for cover as Rosy runs rampant. She knocks aside Buns and notices the portal opened by the star posts and decides to go all Hulk on it! Rosy SMASH! Buns has other ideas and knocks her aside while telling Amy to tell Sonic to hurry it up! Rosy recovers in no time and smacks Buns for extra measure.
Amy tells Sonic to speed it up and he obliges, speeding through Fiona and right over to the King, flooring Scourge with a solid punch. Too bad Stalin has other plans! Boomer knocks out Sonic and Scourge with a concussion blast, while Stalin grabs both of them and throws them into the portal! Boomer then shuts down all the portals, saying Scourge is Sonic's problem now. Anyone else saw this double cross coming? Alliances don't mean a darn thing now!
Amy helps Sonic up while Scourge mutters how there will be hell to pay. Too bad he's got to deal with Rosy now, who promises an extra special smashing for him.
But wait! Meanwhile in Morcia, Rob has encountered something at the Neverlake. He tells Mari-Ann to get back to the youngin's but she refuses. Rob confronts the mysterious person who asks if he's Sonic. Rob says no but knows where Blue is. The figure asks him to take him to Blue. Is it the Lady in the Water? No, it's the glowwor--hedgehog known as Silver. Is Sonic going to bite it again?
Side story deals with the Eggman Empire, and the restlessness that lies underneath the surface. Eggman is fuming about how easily Sonic dealt with his Robotic twins while Snively fumes. He remembers when the EE was a great power and notes how it's been reduced to depending on the pathetic Dark Legion. He encounters Lien-Da and a random Legionnaire and demands they salute him but the laugh off his demands. He whines about how the city has been reduced to a wasteland and now they're all cooped in the Eggdome. He wants to take control but can't since Big Uncle is watching. He takes a seat at a big computer and types a message on the Egg Network chat room, wondering if anyone is there...
Lo and behold, someone is! They asks for updates on the empire and Sir Nose lets them know that the local resistance is tearing them apart. They exchange useless chit chat and the mysterious person asks what's the next plan. Snively says another giant robot while the person laughs it off and decides to tie up a few loose ends and help get things in order...uh-oh.
