It guessed L-Block. Yes, that's right: a bazillion potential candidates for popular fictional characters meeting a set of criteria established within 20 questions, and it got L-Block of all things. I managed to confuse it for a few seconds with ToeJam, and completely threw it off with Fierce Deity Link and Ron DeLite. But put that on the scoreboard and it's still beating me by about 5892864 to 3. It's crazy 'cause you can totally tell when it's on the right track and you're just wincing, waiting for it to laugh that it's smarter than you as it pulls up a damned picture of the person you tried to trip it up with. On my first attempt I used a somewhat obscure character, Raine from Tales of Symphonia. It freaked me out he before it even gave the final answer (which it got) with the last couple of questons. "Does your character have a brother or sister," "Is your character a teacher?" Argh. Second attempt, I used an even more obscure character, Jade from Tales of the Abyss. Again, it pulled the 'I already know who it is so I'll just ask these last couple of questions to screw with you' deal and got it right again. Third attempt, I decided to go with a more mainline character, Soma from Castlevania. It got it, but at least it didn't pull the last couple of questions crap it did during the first two attempts. Fourth attempt, I delved into the somewhat obscure, Fuuka from Persona 3. It guessed Kairi of Kingdom Hearts. Victory is mine! (but she was on the database) Final attempt, I went with Lucca from Chrono Trigger. It guessed Tear from Tales of the Abyss. Victory again! (but yet again on the database) I forsee this thing being yet another thing to drain my precious freetime for the near future. >.<
