(that'll piss off those loyal supporters of the psp with many umd games and those that like to hold a physical product). Retailers (GAME/gamestop etc) will despise this system and hence promote it less/not sell it at all. Also if you lack the "fastish" internets then getting he latest games could be painful (especially since in some European regions where playstation systems sell well yet have slow bandwidth limited isps). Also the moment this psp go system gets hacked Sony will be well and f****d.

Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts Report Post	Well, other than a lack of money, I was waiting for this announcement before getting a new PSP, my old one is broke, and thankfully, I only have 3 PSP games and 1 demo disc. However, even though I was aware of the rumors of dl games only and thought I was ok with it, I'm now having mixed feelings. Even though I only have 3 games, I'm wondering will I have to redownload, and pay, for these games or will Sony have something that let's them know you have the physical game like typing in the bar code to redownload the UMDs you have without having to pay for it twice? Also, what is that hole by the d-pad? Is it supposed to be where the thumbstick is or are they getting rid of the stick? "Drinking beer is easy. Trashing your hotel room is easy. Yes Rayzor, that's where the analog nub goes. For some reason that particular picture doesn't show it. Sega 02: "SONIC TEAM. Hmm, still not sure if I'll get it. I mean, yeah, the 3000 is cheaper, but I'm not entirely sure I believe Sony when they say they're gonna make both the Go and 3000 at the same time. I mean Nintendo said the DS wasn't the GB's replacement but it has, and they've quit making the original when they released the Lite, as I'm sure they'll let the DSi replace the Lite sooner or later. I would say the GBA/NDS/GCN Triple Pillar was at least as successful as the SNES/N64/GB Triple Pillar was during the mid-nineties. Back to the topic at hand: I am thinking meh. No built-in backwards compatibility, rather anemic internal storage, slide-out instead of clamshell. I hope Sony does not do like Nintendo is doing with the DSi and produce/license games that are only compatible with the PSP Go.
