This is terrifying. Everything I was talking to Dub about last night happened while I was sleeping.
I knew they were sitting on this thing. I wish you had just linked to the video, I swear I screamed with excitement when I saw Snake. This. Is. The. Best. Thing. EVER! I was half afraid the Wii had WiFi problems, as it was the only way to justify this thing not being there. |

I searched Nintendo's booth high and low and could not find any playable Smash Bros. It increased my urge to kill considerably.

I was just seraching IGN at school, when I saw this, and when I realised that I couldn't view the railer there, I have comee home just to view it.
As you can guess, I likey. I likey very much. Anticipation has shot up 10000% for this game with the announcement of Snake in it. With the original creator of SSB returning to help create this game, being able to use GC controllers, Wario, Snake, Meta-Knight...This actually transcends awesome. No news on online play, BUT WHO CARES?! IT'S SOLID SNAKE! EDIT: Just watched the trailer. Anticipation rises another 10000%. Looks like those items that resemble the SSB icon let you use some sort of finishing moves. And the Snake bit at the end...Too awesome for words. |

In great contrast to practically every single person on Earth, my anticipation hasn't risen by a degree. Why? Because it's not 100% confirmed that they're going the full mile and including bucketloads of non-Ninty characters.
If they're including Snake, they can include everyone. Having over 100 unique characters would be indulgantly easy and could prove to be a good selling point. Ending on a more positive note, this quote makes me smile on the inside as much as hearing news of good 2D games in this day and age tends to. Super Smash Bros. Brawl will be fully compatible with the GameCube controller. Sakurai's reasoning is simple. He doesn't want to alienate gamers that prefer the traditional gamepad. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
