But...why does Fox carry his blaster at all times now? -Snake's RPG = killz -Mario Kart stage makes me happy! However, seeing Shy Guys ride the karts instead of the Mario cast seems weird to me. I'd rather have it where Shy Guys would substitute the Mario character you're playing as while the other Mario characters you're not playing as are taking the wheel, aiming to run you down. Know what I mean? Hopefully there are other trailers premiering on the other NintendoWorld tour dates. I WANT to see Ganondorf.

Back in June, Masahiro Sakurai typed down numerous blogs on the japanese part of the official site (that's where you can ONLY find them). That's where we got the most info. He confirmed that the entire cast from Melee will NOT be returning, and that the clones who will be returning will be modified. Well, that was referred to all characters, so all characters will be updated from their past versions, like Fox for example. He also said he was going to "moderate" the speed of the game so first-timers can get in the action easily (though I figured Melee was simple enough as it is). But, he also wanted to do that to add emphasis to aerial combat. LOTS of aerial combat. So yeah, due to Ganon's popularity, I would say he has a HUGE chance of returning as brand-new. However, I wouldn't say the same for the likes of Pichu, Dr. Mario, or even Young Link.

Doctor Mario should have been an alternate costume in the first place, Paper Mario would've been an interesting one though.
