Species: Female Mobian Tri-tailed Fox?(Same as Tails)

Age: KIA at age 15.

Height: 5' 7"

Weight: 145 pds.

Eye Color: reddish-brown/rusty.

Features: Curled locks over forehead, parted above her left eye. She wore an earring signess of a twister in her right ear. White gloves with custom coloration; pink starbursts and pinwheels. She also dyed the white hairs of her tails a light blue.

Abilities: She was one of the most powerful Shard Ability users in the memorable past. Her Shard was set into the base of her earring's twister.

Motto: "You hit THIS girl, and you better believe she's gonna hit back!"

Personality: A good listener(her ears, you understand), willing to let others take the lead(most of the time, but not due to squeamishness), 'able to hold her own'(a gross understatement), an able comforter(she didn't mind a soggy shoulder), a picky eater(a definite buffet fan), a light sleeper(don't even BREATH) and uninterested in boys.
She never learned to take a physical hit and keep her temper in check, but she tried to let insults slide off her sensitive fur; her success depended purely on who insulted her, and whether she was standing in the rays of Solus, Mobius' sustaining star.

Background: Yes, she was a relative of Tails; a cousin, the daughter of his father's brother, so she received the same last name as Tails. ['Prower' for the males of the line, 'Prowess' for the females.]
At Age 14, she began to train under Locke, a volunteer to his efforts to produce Shard Ability users to fight others who wielded that same talent, but who were not using them for the good of Mobius.
Within four months, she reached what Locke called her 'training zenith' and she left him to use her skills for what good she could.
About two months later, an unknown falcon named Foaxus approached her about joining a team of individuals who were led by himself, and who where intent on ending Eggman's empire by striking relentlessly at him. She turned him away when she realized his Abilities were endowed upon him by a shard he wore around his neck, which had belonged to an opponent she had defeated and turned over to the Mobian court-system for trial and sentancing.
Later, he assauged her fears of his true intentions, and she became the seventh member of his team, 'The Offenders'.
She later died with the majority of The Offenders, in a trap which she and her teamates fell victim to, and which had been arrainged with Eggman and engineered carefully by someone that none of them had ever even seen ~ theless met.

Name: Xander 'Refrax' Mitty

Age: 29 in CP: The Mobian War. 27 otherwise.

Weight: about 205 pds.

Eye Color: green/grey

Features: His most striking features are the scars running the length of his body, from injuries which he sustained from the close-in explosion of a grenade which had been thrown by a teamate during an allied offensive effort nearly two years ago. Part of his left ear is also missing as a result of that same incident, along with the left canines of his lower and upper jaw; the jawline at the points of his missing teeth, "aches something aweful" whenever the barometric pressure falls below[you choose].

Abilities: Limited to very Basic Combat; he relies very heavily on his BA-06. He is not a Shard Ability user.

Motto: "What do you think, Prizmerl?"

Personality: A very trusting sort, he is easily taken in by false appearances of goodwill and kindness. On the other side of that particular coin, he remembers very well who is not really a nice person, and will make same uncomfortable at crossbow point.
His mentality is one of sticking close to a few, true-blue friends, and helping out others where he can. He's not too terribly perceptive of ill-will towards himself, even when it is openly shown.
One of his biggest faults is his view of his constant robot companion, Prizmerl, who he considers has an equal share in deciding where the two of them will go next and what they will do ~ this despite the fact that Prizmerl is not programmed to venture 'opinions' or his 'inclinations', but merely to answer any sort of question with direct facts.
His scarring experience with the grenade left him with an understandable shyness of near-ranged explosions, and he claims when kidded about his shrinking back, that the shockwave - no matter how slight - of a close explosion, makes his "scars throb something wicked".
The accident also made him hesitant about team offensives; he trusts Prizmerl at his back completely, but gets very uncomfortable to have anyone else in that position. Thusly, he much prefers to bring up the rear in running battle engagements.

Background: [A/N: His only RP appearance somewhat affects the ideas I have for his BG, so I choose to disregard the past I was concepting for him in that RP.]

He chose to remain neutral in the resistance against Robotnik until Prizmerl stumbled onto him and he managed to get the robot to stay with him. After thinking on the fact that the robot had built-in weapons systems, he opted first to try and turn it over for use by the Wolfpack FFs.
During his trip to make contact with the Wolfpackers, the defenseless keeshond was set upon by several Swatbots, as he had unknowingly stumbled into Robotnik's territory. Out of fear and helpless desperation, Xander appealed to the robot for "protection", which word made him its new Designated Subject for Total Defense.
Having a DSTD once more, the robot could not leave Xander from that moment on, because of his basic programming as a Body Guard(B-G) robot; despite the fact that the Wolfpackers were interested in using him.

Weapons/Battle Gear: Uses the 6th and final edition in the series of X-Tension crossbows manufactured by Bowers Arker, an Iguanite company. He carries his own crossbow, which hangs from a 'rack' he wears between his shoulderblades, and he is usually to be found wearing the 'mounting assembly' for his crossbow, upon the lower part and wrist of his left arm. He also wears an armor vest during ranged battle situations, which Prizmerl carries for him when there is no appearant danger to the keeshond.

RP History: Appeared briefly, early in the "Chaos Planet: The Mobian War" RP. He died at the hands of his robot companion.

Name: Kate "Pinball" Lynora

Eye Color: hazel/green

Features: Her natural, armor-plating 'nailplains' are etched with rough scrimshaws, courtesy of her friends, who she lets indulge in their artistic sides, whenever an old design or depiction becomes very worn. The single exception it a characterized depiction of Robotnik catching a big boot in his rear end, carved in by an anynomous artist while she was sleeping one night; this 'work' is reaffirmed whenever it becomes much more than "slightly used".

Abilities: Shares Sonic's famed Ability, Spin-Dash, amid other, Shard induced Abilities, one or two of which are extremely rare for any Shard User, past or present.

Motto: "I don't 'cut and run', I tuck and roll!"

Personality: A great funlover, she is always open for some sort of non-sensical foolishness, but rarely if it will be at the expense of someone else's good time or dignity.
Her mind is often perceived by strangers to work in such an illogical and disjointed fashion, that they are highly amused ~ rather than put off ~ if they are open-minded and willing to get to know her.
Her friends ~ which she boasts many of ~ enjoy her unpredictability and her light-heartedness, but try to keep her grounded when the surroundings and the situation call for it; invariably, she yields to their judgement in this matter.
When she is alone, she talks out loud to herself, and many of her friends have been embarassed to accidentally(or even on purpose) overhear her; she tends to speak her mind of individuals behind their backs, when she thinks she is alone, a habit which she is barely aware of and would probably be flabbergasted to discover she is plagued by.

Background:

Weapons/Battle Gear: She sports her natural armor, of course, but also bears a chest-plate which she had custom forged from light-weight-but-tough, stelinized pyrite or 'fool's gold'. She relies on her Abilities and her hand-to-hand fighting skills during most 'gang scrapes' and solo encounters, but resorts to weapons she is loaned by her battlemates if things get 'real busy'.

Species: Female Timber Wolf

Eye Color: dull grey w/streaks of steel blue

Features: Although strangers seeing her for the first time think it looks ridiculous, she has her beautifully bushy tail wrapped ~ entwined fashion ~ in 'strands' of black and brown leather. Their laughing mouths are closed and their begruding respect is demanded when she lashes them acrossed their chest or face with her 'whipperlashed' tail.

Abilities: Her Shard Abilities inclued many passive effects which 'dampen' or altogether inhibit various S-Abilities of her opponents, but that also wrecks havoc with same of her battlemates.
She is very good with throwing what she has for weight around, and using her lower body to attack. She does all right with her fists, but doesn't use them unless a workable opportunity presents itself to her.

Motto: "Mess with me and I'll put some of your Shard Abilities to sleep."

Personality: Considered by some to be unpredictably reckless, she is nonetheless skilled in recognizing the dangers of a direct approach, and either snubbing them as or before they develope. She also takes into consideration the possible side-effects of her daring moves, and will tell her battle partners what they need to know, or will abort her calculated attempts at an overbearing attack if she sees high-risk to them.
Just for kicks and for to maintain the running legitimacy of her nickname, she throws inner caution to the wind and howls at the full and new moons . . . even when she is undercover in Robotnik's territory.
She is widely regarded by those who know her well as 'a little rough around the edges', but she is a good fighter and a loyal 'pack mate' to those whom she trusts and respects, so she is well spoken of behind her back; and she has respect for most everyone, as she believes everyone has the right to it in their own way, and she recognizes that "respect works two ways, unless it's self-respect you're talking about. The quality of your self-respect is just concerned between yourself and 'that other version' of yourself, but it can be affected by the sort of company you keep, and whether or not you show respect to others."

Background:

Weapons/Battle Gear: Because the majority of her S-Abilities are passive 'effects', she goes in for both close-in and ranged weapons.
Her favorite close-in blade is the Whistle-shafted Stiletto, so named for the sound of its three foot support-ribbed length as it is 'swept' through the air at a particular angle.
She occasionally uses throwing rods, short lengths of hollow, dull black grafite, weighted at one end with a heat-tempered, leaden, short/thin point or 'stinger'.
She likes snapping mechanisms of all descriptions, and has a special place in her arsenal for ~ of all crazy things ~ the common and habitually un-deadly mousetrap; she simply attatches a strong bit of 'line' to the rodenteous eraser, and reels in 'snapped' prey by tender bits of fur or skin . . . or worse.
As far as ranged weapons go, she doesn't like noise or muzzle-flash nor explosions, no matter if she is fighting at night and/or 'running covert' or not. Thusly, she can be coerced easily into using a crossbow, though she has none of her own. Instead of a crossbow, she prefers pnuematic equipped projectile guns, rifles and 'shaft' launchers of almost any make and required firing position.

Species: Male Polar Bear

Eye Color: ice blue

Features: His cream fur is stained with runs of icy blue, an effect of his Glacial Abilities. He also has sheathed gloves for his paws, which feature platinum claw caps. He wears studded, leather sandles and sunglasses to cut down on the glare of Solus' reflection off of the ice and snow he creates.

Abilities: He is a Glacial Master trained in S-Control by Dr. Finitevus.

Motto: "I'm cold as hell beneath frozen stars, and leave my opponents with perma-scars. Watch you don't get more than your hand caught by 'The Freezer'!"

Personality: A very grim-minded individual, he rarely considers anything that has no bearing on his Constant Focus . . . the elimination of the Shard Prentices trained by Leyroi, Locke and Knuckles. He also seeks to destroy those who seek to destory HIM, and doesn't mind stomping anyone who happens to get in his way.
He does remember how to relax and takes ample time to heal his battle wounds when he sustains them.
He often works closely with the other surviving Apprentices of the 'good' doctor, especially with Glacial Sub-Master Klarice Dajumosii, who is now his apprentice.

Background:

Weapons/Battle Gear: He carries an ice pick and steel clamp spikes, both of which he uses freely in battle if he has no time to summon energy from his Shard for a Glacial defense or attack.

Features: Black and deepest purple quills.

Abilities: Akin to Shadow's, but not quite as strong, though they are occasionally tinged with elemental effects. Her eyes have a near-hypnotic quality to them, which seems to effect Shadow more than anybody else.

Motto: "I'm with him and he's with me."(speaking of Shadow)

Personality: Having Shadow to answer her immediate and pressing questions, and feeling needed because of his secret lonelyness until her discovery, she is better grounded in a purpose and way of life than he has had to become.
Her self-determined purpose is to keep Shadow company and do what she can to help him - physically and emotionally. She defends her right to free will and making her own decisions, despite Shadow's insisting that they were created with a purpose, and to be worthy of the life they have been given, they must seek knowledge of that purpose and fulfill it. However, she almost always choses to yield to Shadow's point of view on every other issue, inclueding his opinions about others.
She is less inclined to get physical with anyone than Shadow and it is noted by many who know him by traded blows, that he is mellowing under the milder influence of his created soulmate.

Background: Gerald Maverick originally stuck with the consistantly more powerful male genes to create the Ultimate Lifeform/Weapon, but he could not curse Shadow to an existance were he would really be the only one of his kind ~ Dnonna was his solution to this problem.
Shadow recently discovered her in a cryogen freeze vault and released her after thinking long and hard if he should or not.

Weapons/Battle Gear: Uses 'throwing quills' machined from industrial grade aluminum occasionally, which she wears amid her headquills. She also throws stones with a sling, which she wears wrapped around her forehead.

Eye Color: metallic yellow

Features: Just to spice up his jet black coat, he has it dyed with white and yellow on his face, shoulders, tail and around his neck. He also wears a silver earring and several Signess Shard pieces; one is his own and the others he wears to soak up his Sub-Zone Aura and reform with the signature control patterns of many of his Ability moves.

Abilities: Relies purely on his physical battle skills, but is in reality a Prentice of Sub-zone Abilities.

Motto: "Observe, listen, learn."

Personality: Despite having incurred his condition upon himself many years ago, he has yet to become tolerant of the pain; as it comes and goes in unpredictable waves, he can be very cross and snappish at any given moment.
He dislikes it when people look at him with pity in their eyes and it hurts his pride when he unconsciously touches his head when someone is looking.
His past companions never found it hard to affect the course he chose to take, and he is openly grateful for the friendship and protection they have afforded him.
His in love with his current companion, Bekka, but thinks he is too old for her; he has many times requested without conviction that she depart from following him.

Background: One of the dead Guardian Leyroi's original trainees, he started the tradition of Signess Pieces, a system akin to dogtags for the sake of personal identitiy. He carries a small forge-and-bellows with him, so to create signesses for those Prentices he meets who do not have one.
He suffers from a concissive condition which gives him a constant headache and occasionally, lengthy blackouts.
He has had many companions over the past few years, and most of them have died to save him while he was blacked out; he knows this in some cases and suspects it in all of the others.

Weapons/Battle Gear: Uses a long, ironwood 'winnow rod', curved at one end and tipped with ebsidion 'jags', hence his nickname. He also wears shin guards and gloves of thick leather.

Features: cream fur with maroon 'lotuses'. Wears a belly pack at her waist and a shoulder pouch under her left arm.

Abilities: Victor has fashioned her a Shard Signess of her own and given her one of his Aural Pieces, as well. Over the past months he has taught her some of his easier Sub-zone abilities ~ as they both have had the time ~ and has also helped her unlock some of her Legacy/Talent Abilities, some of which are Flora and Hydro type.

Motto: "I never want to be a let-down to anyone and I'll never let up on myself."

Personality: Light-hearted and easy-going she can really only get herself worked up about Victor's safety; she is compelled to accompany him out of her sense of duty as a medical chemist seeking a cure for his condition.
A quick thinker, she is gifted with a clear perception of how others feel about herself and others, as well.

Background: The only daughter of an acclaimed inventor and research scientist in nurmerous fields, she follows in his footsteps with one clear objective; to help make Mobius a better place, starting with the elimination of Robotnik, who killed her father after his 'becoming' from Eggman.
Specially trained as a medical chemist, she nonetheless carries on every one of her father's lines of active experimentation and passive research, while manufacturing many small inventions of her own conception and design. She trained several assistants to do most of her lab work for her and took to the field to test some of the new technologies she has developed, inclueding several applications for Nanities, based on the information provided her by both Rotor of the Knothole FFs and Helixia of the 'Frontliners'. Thusly she met Victor and became his latest companion and personal prescriptionist.
She is the youngest female companion to travel with Victor and will not leave him despite his urgings that she do so.

Weapons/Battle Gear: She too uses a winnow rod, having learned to do so from Victor; hers is carved from oakenoi and she is a tad faster with it than Victor is with his.

Features: chocolate brown fur streaked naturally with swirls of cream from his left shoulderblade and down, across his back to the inside of his right hip/thigh.

Abilities: He is a poor Shard Ability user, only able to master a few of his simplest Legacy/Talent abilities, which are all Sub-zone. His standby attack is his wicked, bone-shattering kick, but he is very fond of ranged weapons that can be thrown and various launchers.

Motto: "You can run, but you can't spring."

Personality: He amuses himself more than anyone who knows him and doesn't like being regarded lightly, as he often is. Failure is not something he takes well; he often strikes out at nearby friend and foes alike when something goes other than he wants.

Background: He is an Enmity Fighter or 'Klasher Clubber' as they call themselves, and now makes his living doing unimportant jobs for Robotnik. His biggest beef is with Antoine, who terminated his active statis with the Castle Acorn Special Guard shortly after Elias' ascendancy, when he learned that the kangaroo was seeking a membership with the EFs.
He was asked by Bark and Bean to join them in their crashing of Sonic's birthday, but didn't like the odds, despite the fact that he could have improved them half again.

Weapons/Battle Gear: His baby is a large boomerang, which he uses with practiced skill; its speed is driven to deadly extremes by jet thrusters sunk into its rear edge.
He also favors a shoulder-mounted catapult with which he projects grapefruit-sized mace balls.

Features: Much scarred from fire, he has preserved the scars in an unhealed state so he looks more fearsome and so he has more of a tolerance for extreme temperatures. He wears open sconces on his shoulders and has rigged his metal boots to sport licks of flame at their tips.

Abilities: He has sought a phyro-coded Shard for many months, but has yet to acquire one; thusly he relies on his flaming weapons and his passing knowledge of hand to hand combat. His real skill is in swordfighting, swords being the signature weapon of the Enmity Fighters.

Personality: A gleeful hunter of his old Club 'friends', he toys with his victims where he can, but takes care of business quickly where he can't.
During his vendetta duels with his ex-clubmates he catches alone by his own designs, he never speaks until the end, when he says in his breather-muffled voice, "I've suffered in the Blazes and I carry that pain with me; you can go there too, but I send you there with a merciful stroke".
He has no choice but to keep to himself, too easily recognizable no matter how he tries to conceal himself; the smell of his burn-scarred flesh is unmistakable.
A horror to look upon, he is still a person in need of companionship, and therefore seeks someone to talk to and spend his 'in-between' hours with.

Background: He was a member of the Enmity Fight Club in Lower Mobius until he was 21, at which time he was barred for pressing an opponent who had conceeded to him, in one of the most dangerous yet popular fight arenas the club maintains ~ The Eternal Blazes. That very duel he lost, being over-balanced in the desperation of his opponent and falling into the midst of the coal-and-oil stoked flames.
The Club's symbol is the sign of the Eternal Blaze and Crossblades and all of its members bear that sign ~ either as a tatoo or brand or some other design ~ and consider themselves part of a secretive group. The club motto(which Hell'nbent based his own upon) is "You can't raize and you should never cross, the Eternal Blaze and Crossblades".
He suffered severe burns during his final enmity duel and bears their marks with pride now; he has become obsessed with fire and his growing arsenal of weapons is themed after burning heat and actual flames. He has also declared a vendetta against all of the Enmity Fight Club's members ~ past and present ~ and his stalking has drawn the EFs closer together and made them watch each other's backs habitually.
So the public may come to recognize his work, he brands his victims with his own stylized version of the symbol of the Eternal Blazes Arena ~ an Roman numeral II(2) with a crossbar to create an H, and then enclosed with an oval.
He has applied to "Firefox" Folkancur for an Apprenticeship with him, but has had no word back in weeks.

Weapons/Battle Gear: Wears a phyro suit which spurts jets of flame and molten lead; he is protected by a prep-layer 'skin' which serves both as basic strike and heat resistant protection. His nickname 'Wrawt' comes from one of his basic hand weapons, a fire poker. One of his broadswords has a miniature flamethrower sunk into its handle and he likes thick phyrotar-coated throwing stars which he is skilled in striking on metal surfaces near his intended target before they sink into exposed flesh.

Personality: The stocky, big-hearted type, he gets along well with anyone that doesn't want to pick a fight with him; those that are foolish enough to insist on getting physical with him, are treated lightly until they do some damage, usually when they draw his blood.
He's inclined to be protective of 'his girl', Yettah, but she has proved many times that he need not bother ~ not to say that he has stopped offering his help or that she never accepts it and expresses appreciation for it.
His weakness is his adversion to blood; to his credit, though, he is able to stand the sight of it if he can't afford to close his eyes.

Background: He was an apprentice with Victor until the black panther decided to receive Shard Training from Leyroi. He took over the shop for about five months, but came to realize that his interest in blacksmithing had died with the departure of his 'master'.
While he didn't kid himself about becoming a good Shard Prentice, he did believe he could learn to fight freehand. He already knew how to wrestle well, and took further fight
training from the best street brawlers and median club contenders he could afford to pay.
Then, only ready in his willing spirit, he reported to the Southern Freedom Fighters for volunteer service. The leader of the SFFs was not looking for recruits at the time, but could not turn away 'such a big fellow'.
Stallo proved himself brave ~ willing to draw fire if he could make things 'less hot' for his teamates ~ and a real asset because of his beefy build; he can freelift 160 pds. and tilt over 400.
He met Yettah in the Field, during a running defensive involving two Apprentices and a dozen of Robotnik's Amphbots; he took a lazer bolt to his upper right arm and she stopped her close pursuit of an Apprentice to apply a healing flower to his painfully oozing wound. Abilities: He is not a Shard Ability user and he never intends to be. Though his battle skills are fairly well-rounded, he is not overly good with any weapon or a master of any hand-to-hand fighting form.

Personality: A good guy but a real 'bad boy', he is somewhat more inclined to greet tough looking male strangers with a blow than a handshake.

Features: He kept every other one of his locks trimmed close to his scalp and dyed a leaf green, then tied a pink, white or orange flower into them, in loving memory of his deceased wife. In his later years, the hairs of his Guardian Birthmark grew unusually long, making it look something like a beard growing out of his chest.

Abilities: He claimed the foremost of his abilities was that of teaching, and he refered to it as 'his greatest gift'.
He was a Mixed Wielder, able to employ the Shard he used to create many of the weaker attacks from the listings of every Element type; his Shard was given to him by the Council of the True Guardians, when he joined the ranks of the Shardowed Guardians shortly after turning fifteen.

Motto: "Chin/buck up; we should try again, so we shall."

Personality: He was a fatherly sort who seemed to have been born to have children, but who was never blessed with any.
His teaching skills were logical and effective; his methods were based on the three 'Ps' ~ patience, presistance and praise.

Background: His parents did not want him to join the Guardians when he grew up, even though the mark on his chest spoke of that calling for him, so they dyed it to match the rest of his fur, from shortly after his birth onward. When he was old enough to think to wonder about this "old family tradition", he began to suspect he was actually a Guardian, but he had wished so often that he could have been born one, that he did not dare hope this new-found suspicion was true. Besides, why would his parents keep his statis a secret from him?

Turning fourteen, he hit the rebellious stage and demanded a straight answer from his father about why he had to have his chest re-dyed every three months or so, having discovered weeks before that 'the old family tradition' had started with him. All present Chaos Control empowered Guardians had been identified at birth or shortly thereafter, so Leyroi's father told him the truth, hoping that it was too late to matter. Leyroi reported to the Council of the Senior Guardians immediately, and learned that Chaos Control had never in the history of the Guardians been endowed by the Aura of the Master Emerald upon any Birth Guardian over the age of seven. He was told further that he was far from alone in the position he found himself in, because of his parent's protection; at that time there was almost a score of secret Guardian Masters, who held themselves under the Chaos Guardians but who were viewed by the council as equals, as brothers, the most trusted of allies, the gifted sons of another calling.

These Guardian Masters, whose exsistance was unknown to the general public at the time, were refered to by the Council as 'The Second Called', but they named themselves 'The Shardowed Ones'. Eagerly joining himself to the ranks of the S-Ones, Leyroi found out that there had been shard wielders throughout the past centuries; most of them had been mistaken ~ by Guardians and layman alike ~ as true Guardians.

He considered Foaxus' beseeching request for shard training a few weeks, before he decided the falcon was "on the level", then agreed to do what no Second Called Guardian had ever even dreamed of doing before . . . he revealed the secrets of Shard Control to outsiders. He could not justify his actions to the Council of the Guardians, and so, was removed from his honored statis and disowned . . . even in the midst of the desperate need the Island had for every one of its birth-Guardians, whether they had Chaos Control or Shard Abilities.

Reasoning that if 'outsiders' could acquire Shard Abilities, Why not teach them? ~ Leyroi consoled himself with the training of his 'prentices' and the rapid progress most of them made under his able tutaledge; he firmly believed that the True Guardians would die out in a generation.

Weapons/Battle Gear: He was called "Jangle" because of the lengths of brass chain hanging from his wrists and lower arms, which did extra damage when he used facial punches. He also wore studded shinguards to give his spinkick 'a little extra jolt'.

Abilities: Her Shard Abilities are purely self-affecting. Using her Shard, she can boost her jumps, her dead run and every one of the physical attacks she presently knows and those she learns. Such an aura of personal physical enhancement is classed as Sub-Zone type.
She refers to her favorite attack style as 'foot-to-mouth' rather than hand-to-hand; the truth in this is held in that she seems to be upsidedown more that she is rightsideup, while she is facing off most of her opponents.

Motto: "Push harder, higher, faster, longer, though not stronger."

Personality: Quiet to a fault, she might not tell you something you really need to know; she could very well be more considerate of others than she is inclined to.
She doesn't mind being around people and certainly isn't shy, but she prefers to be alone when she can; whether she could fall in love enough to want to spend her free time with that someone, remains to be seen.
More than once she has gone missing for several days, though never during one of her FF assignments; she has been asked by concerned individuals where she goes and why, but she has never told and no one has felt they could press the issue.

Background: More than a bit of a recluse before she joined the Eastern FFs(which was shortly before the re-appearance of Dr. Finitevus), she made a decent living designing clothing and concepting patterns for cloth used in bedding and tablecloths. A health fanatic, she exercised eight hours each day and made sure she slept ten hours every night. Though she did not have any fighting skills, she was readily accepted into the EFFs because she was willing to train hard and was so physically fit that she could run all of her new teamates into the ground ~ if given a long enough distance. She is of the first generation of Shard Prentices.

Weapons/Battle Gear: Unable to summon attacks from her Shard, in battle she uses any ranged weapon she is given and during her pursuits she wields a twenty pd. iron ball on a thirty pd. strength chain, an electrical arc rod or a Roman Candle(an extreme short-range flamethrower) ~ depending on whether her target is flesh and blood or metallical.

ABILITIES: Physically, he lacks enough weight to have any worrying amount of power behind his fight blows, but he can still stun opponents long enough to lay his kiss of death upon them. Shard-wise, he is a Master of Sub-Zone type abilities and the few times he has tangled with Shadow he has held his own, though he has always been the one to break off contact. Amid the Apprentices he is able to best any of them in Freestyle KO combat, but he has proved an even match for the other Masters ~ a fact that none of them is very pleased with.

Personality: He knows he's good and it can be seen in his eye and the way he moves, but he will never <i>tell</i> you how good he is . . . he'll <i>show</i> you.
For no particular reason besides his species and his association with the famed Knothole FFs and the singing sensation of that same village, Cingorei has issued a standing challenge to Ash to meet him and face-off to the death; it is his way of ensuring he will have another highly publicized match, even if it be with Sonic on Ash's behalf.
His greatest asset is his patience, acquired through much effort at the behest of his lamented Master, who put great stock in the beneficial quality. He bides his time waiting to strike anywhere he sees an opportunity opening up, and his patience is especially evident in his dealings with Ash; he awaits the mongooses pleasure, and only re-issues his invitation to duel once every three months.

Motto: "Don't touch this one."

DATA-FILE: While Dr. Finitevus claimed no one of his trainees as his second-in-command, Cingorei always fancied he was the favorite because he often led his fellow Apprentices in their secretive missions for the furtherance of the 'good' doctor's plans. Despite his shard/physical fighting prowess, he has not dared to proclaim himself the new leader of the Apprentices; his tolerance of Scourge as the public figure of their team is minimal and promises to fail soon.

Background: The illegitimate son of a streetfighter in Lower Mobius(the only place where they are tolerated), he was born to an ex-prostitute who had quit the streets and gotten an 'honest job' when she realized she was pregnant.
He grew up playing on the streets and watching spontaineous brawls and pre-scheduled fights with his friends, most of whom freely expressed their intentions to grow up and become "jawgers"(the boys), or 'get out of that hole in the ground and BE something'(the smarter girls).
When he was six, his father revealed himself and began to train Cingorei to fight without his mother's knowledge. The six year old was a willing disciple of his new-found father's teachings and made rapid progress in picking up new single moves and combinations, and honing his technique in the regards of speed, accuracy, balance and strategy. He started to pick up the basics of opponent reading when he began to instigate fights with any of his friends who could be driven to fisticuffs, most of whom were looking for fight experience anyway.
His first official match was his birthday present from his father when he turned nine, against a twelve year old not much taller than he was, though a winning veteran of over thirty fights; it was termed a Baptismal Fight, as Cingorei was not yet a known fighter in the first of the five recognized fight classes; Freestyle-Y(outh), Freestyle-A(dult), Freestyle-V(eteran), Freestyle-B(loodlet) and Freestyle-R(estricted).
He lost that first match and won few of the following fifteen. He became known from his first fight on as 'The Pushover'(because of his habit of fighting cleanly and the simple fact that he rarely contended against opponents in his weight class), a nickname he didn't mind in the least, but which his father despised doubly for the both of them.
When he turned fourteen he automatically advanced to the F-A Class, and when he claimed his tenth win during his forty-third bout at age fifteen, he stepped into the F-V Class.
It wasn't until after he turned sixteen that he realized he needed to fight dirty if he was going to make his living as a professional 'nosejobber'. The switch from his clean style to a less polite one was overnight, and the change in his reputation took hardly longer; not a week passed before he was winning fights and getting offers to have his fights hosted in popular fightclub rings. Now he was consistantly victorious and relentlessly persistant in making sure that all his successful matches ended in the same way; half of his opponents died from his poison bite . . . the other half were forced to retire under threat of the same fate.
Thusly he stepped into the F-B Class of his own choice, wherein the contender casualty rate was over sixty-five percent and was climbing steadily at the time; he survived the few bouts he lost because he was unconscious and the spectators habitually lynched contenders who killed their KOed opponents. His high opo-kill/survives ratio ~ favoring the kill side ~ and the method with which he sustained it, gave rise to his new nickname . . . Venemous. His killing
edge was in that he could strike his opponents while they fought, thusly escaping the wrath of the spectators, though the charisma he had acquired since entering the F-B Class made it very questionable that he would have been mobbed and exocuted.
After his first six months in the F-B Class, he could no longer get skilled opponents very near his age or weight and he began to take on greatly overmatched bouts. Another three months and he had to either enter the F-R Class or retire from the ring and find other work. He chose to advance to the final class, despite the prohibitions that went along with it. His fights now had to be scheduled weeks prior to the event, and he could only get opponents through their managers. Engaging in a private fight meant instant ejection from the F-R class and barring from all fightclubs in Lower Mobius.
He chose his foes carefully, only going into a Death Contention when he was confident he could win; when he had doubts he refered powerful foes overeager to schedule a DC with him to his manager(his father, naturally), who carefully played on greed and his son's merciless
reputation to talk down their enthusiasm for a DC until they agreed to high-purse stakes and a KO Match.
He only ever lost when his opponent proved skilled in faking unintended moves and scored an early KO on him; if the cobra could stay 'awake' for two minutes during an intense foe's initial onslaught, he could get a handle on his opponent's battle pattern and read every attempted fake-out for the rest of the match.
He was hand-chosen by the Doctor and began his training later than Sbruce or Yhorus, while Finitevus was in power as Lien-Da's advisor during the time of the Dingo Oppression of Angel Island. His latent Shard Aura impressed Finitevus so, that he risked sending the cobra into the Field very early in his training. Cingorei did not disappoint him, displaying perfect control of those Shard Abilities he had learned, and unlocking two passive inhibition effects within himself during his first prolonged battle engagement.
Pushing himself in battle and training with his Master every moment the Doctor could spare him, he progressed to the aural rank of Closing Master right on the heels of his fore-trained fellow Apprentices, even though they both had many more weeks of private training; he had entered the live training arena of actual field combat days before they were allowed to do so by Finitevus, despite their mild protests.

Every one of his scales that can be, is lifted and set with a 'fang-stud' tipped with his own poison, which he is immune to. Next to overlay that measure is 'scaled plating' which is loose enough to settle over the fangstuds.

Abilities: He is a Phyro Elemental Master, able and willing to deliver flaming kicks and punches, and able to stave off water if it is not delivered upon his person in sufficient quantities.

Personality: His personality matches his Elemental Mastership. He is as quick-tempered as Knuckles and Sonic, and is better able to hold his conscentration in battle when he is peeved.

Background: Trained by Dr. Finitevus, in his acquired Shard Entified state of almost three years he has become known as 'Firefox'.

Weapons/Battle Gear: He is fond of lighting things on fire and has his fellow Apprentices carry his Fireflies for him, as he cannot do so without incinerating them all at once in battle. His 'fireflies' are simply wads of huge rubberbands dipped in his own custom mix of various oils. His twisted sense of creativity and 'art' has led him to place inscense cubes in the cores of his fireflies.

Features: His fur is dark purple, his skin is dark brown. He wears a bodysuit of dull black and paints his face with mahogany red and dark navy blue for his buglaries. His streetwear is custom cut and colored golden yellow jeans ~ which end just below his knees ~ and a black T-shirt tye-dyed in front with yellow and red, and trailing multiple, single colored bandanas in various shapes, which are attached by snaps down the middle of it in whimsically variable order.

Abilities: He has no outstanding offensive Shard abilities, but he does eminate a passive, ability-dampening aura which he has yet to recognize.

PERSONALITY: He is quite oblivious of the age gap between himself and Rouge.

As recklessly dangerous an idea as it be that he is trying to steal Shards from the most powerful Apprentices, he is seeking to do so with a cautiously waiting attitude; one which he doubts very much that Rouge gives him credit for.

Despite his sense of self-preservation, he is daring where there are decent odds in his favor, a lesson he has taken from Rouge's reputation.

He is not much of a conversationalist, having learned to keep his mouth shut in his particular line of work, and he runs alone unless he can benefit to a great enough extent by playing some sap for cover or valuable information, or actually going in with another thief on a job . . . another lesson he has taken from Rouge's modus operandi.

DATA-FILE: His idol is the infamous bat burglar Rouge, who spurned his offer of his thieving assistance in no uncertain terms. Now he is driven to show her what he can do by claiming the Aural Shard pieces of some of Finitevus' Master Apprentices, Sbruce being his favorite because there is a known buyer for that signess; Ash Bremise desperately wants it to face down Kingorei, so as to make sure of defeating him. Gowan is in over his head in this particular endeavor, but he may yet stumble into a workable scenario and make off with the polar bear's Shard. Rouge has found out what her rejection has driven him to do, and she has told him many times to "lay off" his brash attempts at thievery, but he chooses to ignore her.

Background: He hails from Belfreen Town in the darkest depths of Lower Mobius, down where mostly only his people live, though hiding out visitors are frequent. Also refered to as 'the place to do shady business', Rouge shuns the many 'fences' down there but arrainges to meet most of her buyers there . . . if they're 'not afraid of the dark'.

Gowan was eight when an eleven year old Rouge came into his father's legitamate pawn shop and tried to hock her first stolen wares. His father told to her that crime was not worth its consequences, and gave her a charitable sum for them, being careful to explain ~ in all truthfulness ~ that he wasn't buying them, just redeeming them from her hand to show he could sympathize with whatever sort of brick-walled corner she felt she was backed into. He swore that he would turn the cheap jewels over to the proper authorities without mention of her, as he always gave the young, first-time offenders a break. Properly scared of what might have happened to her, Rouge thanked him profusely and promised she would never steal again.

To Gowan's sorrow and sure misfortune, his father died shortly after that passing encounter with young Rouge, and though his will did not leave the shop to his son, it was to be sold and the money procured to be held in trust by an honest old friend to see to Gowan's keep. The shop was bought by Gowan's uncle Bretume, who also owned a pawn shop, but one known as a reliable fence. Bretume also got legal custody of his nephew in short order, and thusly Gowan has been exposed to the unsavory characters that his uncle does much business with.

Gowan never forgot the older, female bat who he had thought at the time to be brave but foolish and the promise she had made to his father. By the time he realized that the famed Rouge and that nameless girl from his youth were one and the same, he was too 'worldly-wise' to be very surprised; he was just indignant that she had broken her promise to his father. His original reason for seeking her out was to confront her with the reality of her broken oath; she did not remember the promise, and he forgave her for forgetting and breaking it because 1; he was now a practicing thief himself, and 2; he had fallen in love with her and could not bring himself to hold a grudge against her.

Weapons/Battle Gear: In the hopes that someday Rouge will become his official mentor, he has refrained from carrying and using weapons of distantly deadly or destructive descriptions; he simply carries a tranquilizer dartgun and wears aluminum knuckles. His occasional standbys are a pair of titanium knuckles and a blackjack; for his special burglar missions he has a 'sniper-lizer' rifle. His rubber-soled boots are steel-toed "for extra kick".

Clumsy outside his workshop and uncomfortable without carrying at least one of his greater gadgets on his person, he often causes accidents around him, though he himself is rarely caught up by the shambles he leaves in his wake.
