I was told if you had SADX SA2:B or SH games on the memory card already when playing Sonic Mega Collection that certain games are already unlocked.
Well, I have all 3 games on my memory card as well as SMC. But nothing unlocked...was this method just a hoax or something? |

Well, Sonic Adventure DX and Heroes was released after Sonic Mega Collection. so thats impossible.
I dont think you got a game with Sonic Adventure 2 Battle You Got Blue Sphere with Phantasy Star Online (i think) To unlock all the games. just start them up 20 times each. -----------

I think it was actually Phantasy Star Online that you had to have a file for to automatically unlock flicky, the blue sphere minigame was unlocked if you had another Sonic Team game file in your memory card. Billy Hatcher or SA2:B perhaps?

I have Billie Hatcher and SADX, but no PSO...
I unlocked Flicky as soon as the game was turned on, but that was the only one I got straight away. |

PSO unlocks Blue Spheres; SA2B unlocks Flicky. I don't believe any other game saves serve as keys for the unlockables.

This always happens... 1. In SA2:B it's impossible for me to get Green, Blue or Orange chao (or Shiny versions). They simply aren't available. Every other item has appeared lots of times. (I got them in SA: DX anyway.) 2. The popular UpUpDownDownUpUpUpUp cheat for S3&K has never worked for me. Yet, there must be a reason why it's so popular. (I found another cheat anyway.) 3. When I played Sonic Heroes MY version was so bland and cosmetic it was beyond crap, yet other people's versions..oh no wait. Scratch that. (I'm used to this anyway.) I'm either jinxed or...no I'm just jinxed. This Omochao's p*ssed. |

The UpUpDownDownUpUpUpUp code doesn't work for S3&K, only Sonic 3 by itself. It's entirely possible to get it working, but it's also the most irritatingly hard-to-achieve code in Sonic history.

Yes, even the great Tips and Tricks said it took them about 100 tries to get that cheat to work.
For stage select on S3&K, go to the first level, grab one of the swinging vines and, while your character is swinging on the vine, press Left-Left-Left-Right-Right-Right-Up-Up-Up on the analogue stick. Might take you a couple tries, (5 or so at most) but when you hear the ring sound, go back to the title screen and hold down B and press START. I used to use this cheat a whole lot to play Hidden Palace a lot of times...don't know why though, at one point I was just completely obsessed with HPZ o_O  Ah, my 50th comic...poor Shads doesn't get the hint!
