Kind of remind me of Darkspine Sonic from the Secret Rings. Also the rumor is that this game is PS3 exclusive which might explain the third screenshot that

The heavy emphasis on grinding and reverse view camera suggests bad gameplay, though 2.5D may redeem it.
Is it just me or is Sonic's design like a best of both worlds combo of Genesis Sonic and SA Sonic? He seems a bit fatter.

I agree completely with everything stated about the styling and appearance. All that white makes me think of Mirror's Edge. With the detail on Sonic's
model and the quality of the textures I'd say it's entirely possible that there's a Wii version that looks exactly the same besides the resolution
difference.
Werewolf Sonic, though? No. No no no. The idea makes my stomach curdle and boil. This just had to be leaked under the light of a full moon, didn't it? |

appearance.

Like I said, it's the very idea that I have an issue with. Everything else I like and it's not like I'm not going to give it a chance, but Sonic
being associated with werewolves or actually becoming one = no no NO KILL IT BEFORE IT MATURES. I'm not gonna pretend something I don't like the sound
of isn't there just because the rest is cool.

Wow, been off at a City of Heroes meet up and I miss all of this?!
Anyway, visually I'm stunned, I thought SEGA didn't have it in them to create something this beautiful with Sonic anymore, thank god I'm wrong. However, I'm not sold, I'll keep my eye on this but there's no way I'm counting on it to be a return to form until there's a demo out. |

Certainly not before Sonic 2K6, Shadow, Sonic Heroes, etc. were released! Nope not at all!(sarcasm) This game looks much better than Sonic 2K6 and Sonic's model is cute, but pretty graphics don't mean crap if this game is plague with the same problems the last few 3D Sonic games had. Thus, I don't have much hope for this game. And were-Sonic sucks. Also, like I said there will be probably be a Wii version that look downgraded from these shots. |

So yea...haven't heard anything on this til maybe 7 min. ago. I'm somewhat excited and overwhelmed. I don't think i'll be following this game
though. I'm going to look at it at E3 and hopefully a release date, wait til that day, buy it, and enjoy it. No need getting involved in the
hype...it's led to utter disappointment in the past concerning "Sega's flagship". But I will say this...if this does end up being for
real...and not a "hoax"... it does look sexy. Very sexy. It's like the Alessandra Ambrosio of games.
 Ownage. Period.

Why are a few folks here saying based on these leaked shots, it's for the Wii. There is not Wii game(not even the best looking ones: Galaxy and Brawl) that
look as great as these shots. This is even a huuuuge leap from what Secret Rings looked like and a slightly larger leap from what Sonic 2K6
looked also.
Not to mention that these shots are from a HD output, so unless Nintendo are planning on releasing a HD Wii system this year, then I'm calling that the screencaps are from a PS360 game. |
