Evidence showed that he never post updates again, and have the projects went nowhere, he had just said it all to get attention. He's supposedly 35, and he didn't act his age, nor has he ever. When further questioned about his old projects he wanted to revive, he avoided the questions, eventually said he got bored with the ideas and proceeded to cuss people out some more. |

There's the key thing to note about all of this is that he stated several times in the thread that he just got bored of some of his projects and stopped.
He said that.
He also did not return to the forums to tell people he got bored and stopped. Now, what evidence, besides the fact he is currently saying that he is working on it, is there that he wont get bored again and abandon the people who give a crap about SatAM. PS: In the thread he accused Sonic Stadium of trying to smear him as they are a British site and have a British comic which they don't want ruined. That post made me laugh outloud. Firstly, Site's country of origin =/= forum or forum members. Secondly Fleetway =/= exist for past 8 years. Lastly I laugh at the idea Fleetway fans would want to destroy the idea of SatAM season 3 so it wont ruin Fleetway. My gosh, what a silly man. |

If you bothered to read the FUS forum, I have always said, right from the beginning, that I was working on a pitch. A PITCH. I never, ever, EVER said this show was a guarantee. And that's where all the chaos came from. Because some Sonic fans took it upon themselves to ASSUME things about a person they've never met. And if it's EVIDENCE you want, you about the images I've posted recently? Or when I made my first revival post? Hmm? you're right, it IS just a cartoon, that's the logic that i try to instill on everyone that makes an satam revival topic. i've been here since 02? and by craig's logic in the other thread, there's generally one or two people a year that make a new topic about the same damn thing. so that'd make what 12 topics? so yeah, no offense to you or anything. but it is just a cartoon, if it gets cancelled, then that's it, it's not that big of a deal.

Okies, first to Mysterious Animator X, just as you're allowed to do as you do, we are allowed to do as we do, and as I think the ideas of a TRUE TO THE
ORIGINAL NIMH sequel, a Dragon's Lair movie, a Fraggle Rock movie and a third season or revival of SatAM are ridiculous, you'll have to allow me and
other people to be sceptical of you.
Anyone can draw up concept sketches, afterall. Look at the other thread from the Edgehog guy, I doubt he'll go far, but he threw up a concept. Now, I don't doubt your validity of doing the pitch. I think you are working to that end, and by taping in to the fandom and getting ideas, you're doing a good thing. HOWEVER. Firstly. I believe you are doomed to fail. The entire idea seems ridiculous and I heavily doubt it would be in SEGA's best interest to revive a show older than the target demographic which features none of the characters they are selling. Especially after SoA's move to have 4kids provide the in-game voicing to "maintain continuity among mediums" as they excused it. So, really, seeing that you did the same thing over the past two years and got bored, which is how I read it (apologies if I read wrong, but it is your phrasing, so be clearer. Afterall, the word bored was used), I see no reason why you wont do so again. If you pull it off, cool, but heck at this time you're ten thousand miles away from a pitch which any rational person would assume wont go well. Cynicism is more or less the standard approach, especially from people who couldn't give a crap either way. As for the laughter. Please don't be so personal. You wrote something off-handedly which was not intended to be a definition of your character, I get that. I also found it funny. I know it's not what you truly believe, because I doubt you care that much, as I don't care too much about your pitch. It's just the spirit of message board discussions. Everything you say is up in text and open to analysis from all angles. Just as, if you replied harshly to this, it wouldn't matter to me as this post does not represent who I am in reality, so too should be the same with you. Deal with this crap. Only those who believe in their heart of hearts that they have a shot of a dead show coming back from the grave (which is about as much a childish fantasy as mom and dad getting back together if they divorced) will shower you with happy praise forever, everyone else will at best think you're a person working on an impossible dream or at worst a glory hog riding the hype. Now, HS77, the number I quoted was not meant as a serious number. It happens on and off, and topics about the idea of reviving the show appear every few months, but please don't quote the number as if it were fact. I apologise for putting such a brash number. |

True but if this Matt person is in the industry he stands a better chance than anybody else who probably don't even have proper training or understanding
of how cartoons are made. If Matt fails then fine. Nothing changes. But if he makes the cut then I'm glad. Craig I think this Matt guy probably understands
the steep possibilities of this Pitch taking off I think thats the main point he's trying to make. He's not going into this knowing deep down that
he's going to succeed.

guarantees nothing. Without an established portfolio of published work he's no better than edgehog here.

Could someone tell me this. Let's say that THIS revival somehow succeeds and a network decided to pick this up, using the character which are now featured in Archie, would the studio, television networks would have to pay SEGA & Archie royalties to use character such as Sally, Bunnie, Rotor (etc). As well the company who released the SAT AM DVD? Quote:

YES. That's how licensing works. Sega has full control of any character established in the DiC shows and the comic as per their contract. Fleetway, too.
Everything. It's theirs. And they have a right to licensing fees because of this.
Archie and Shout Factory get NOTHING. They're licensees. The only profit they make is from book/DVD sales. Sega 02: "SONIC TEAM. In any case, another what if: Let's say hypothetically the show gets the green light, Season 1 is produced, and the whole nine yards. Finally it comes to fruitation. Alas, there is not enough support for the show and it (once again) flops. It gets the shaft and we're back at sqaure one. Repeat the process, start over, we're stuck in a vicious circle or a catch-22. Call it what you will. Now what? Wait another 15 years to see a new season? My point: Is it worth the trouble to do all of this? Yes, I do love the show and I wouldn't mind seeing it back on the air. But just to have it get cut again? If that's the case, let it rest. Not trying to discourage anyone, I really am not trying to. Just Something to think about.

Ratings wise how succesful was Sonic X? Yeah does anybody just happen to know this?
