Found this at Sonic Retro.
Pay attention to Sonic at the 3:00 mark. Apparently if you're on those hand thingies in Hydrocity when you drown, Sonic death sprite goes flying horizontally off the screen.        *avatar courtesy of Matt Moylan's Lilformers site |
